Sol Lipshitz, CPA
With
more than 25 years of experience and involvement in more than 75
M&A transactions, Sol chairs the Merger & Acquisition Services Group for Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP. Throughout his career, Sol has assisted
clients through the intricate transaction process of either buying
another business or selling all or part of their existing business.
In many instances, he has assisted clients through multiple mergers
and/or acquisitions. He takes an in-depth look at the "big
picture" of the transaction, not only from a financial point
of view, but from an operational and management point of view, as
well. He knows that in the case of a merger, not only must the numbers
work, but the management philosophy, style and method of the operations
must match as well.
A recognized leader in the merger and acquisition field, Sol has
addressed numerous bankers, attorneys, and business and professional
organizations on issues affecting mergers and acquisitions, including
company strategies and shareholder and family relationships.

Marc Federbush , CPA
Marc has devoted his career in public accounting to serving the
apparel and textile industry. With such in-depth industry experience
gained over 20+ years, he is a sought after resource to those in
the industry, including young, aggressively growing companies and
those that are well-established industry leaders. As chair of Anchin's
Apparel, Textile, Diamond and Jewelry Services Group, Marc has assisted
many clients with business planning, including the merger and acquisition
process. He provides insightful advice to business owners regarding
federal and state tax matters and how they impact the business;
in addition, he works with owners as individuals on estate planning
matters.

Upen Saraiya, CPA
A
member of the Firm since 1969 and a partner since 1984, Upen also
serves as Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP’s Chief Financial
Officer. This operations experience, as well as his 25+ years of
client service experience, allows Upen to bring a broad perspective
to his clients, who include distributors, real estate owners and
developers, and high net worth families. He has delivered insightful
advice on many merger and acquisition transactions through the years,
and in some instances, delivered that advice across generational
lines in the family-owned business.

Kuldeepak
(KD) Acharya, CPA, is an accounting and audit partner at Anchin, Block
